Founded in 2022, Sunday Studio was built on the belief that great design begins with great storytelling. What started as a boutique marketing studio has since evolved into a full-service creative house, offering branding, digital strategy, interior styling, and event design.
Our work spans industries—having partnered with clients in watersports, hospitality, real estate, medical aesthetics, biotech, wellness, interior design, restaurants, marinas, photography, and more. Whether supporting a luxury resort, a startup medical spa, or a global biotech company, our approach remains the same: strategy-led, emotionally intelligent, and visually refined.
Sunday Studio is home to three signature divisions:
Sunday Studio Marketing
Full-service branding, social media management, content creation, web design, copywriting, and campaign strategy.
Sunday Soirée
Aesthetic-focused event design and custom stationery for weddings, brand activations, and special occasions. From color palettes and menus to mood boards and signage, we shape each visual detail.
Sunday Haus
Remote interior design services tailored to your budget and style. Through virtual moodboards, mockups, and curated sourcing, we bring personalized spaces to life—beautifully and intentionally.
At its core, Sunday Studio exists to help brands and individuals turn ideas into presence—through thoughtful storytelling and timeless design across every medium.
Kristen LaRose-Gaasrud is the founder of Sunday Studio, a multidisciplinary design house focused on brand identity, digital strategy, interior design, and event aesthetics.
She spent her early childhood between a beach house and a farmhouse on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Spending time with her family, clamming, exploring nature, and enjoying beach-town living. Her family also loved to travel, and their experiences visiting different countries early on helped shape Kristen’s global perspective and creative curiosity. After moving to Connecticut as a child, Kristen grew up riding horses, ice skating, playing soccer, painting, and spending time with close friends. She especially loved New England in the fall; apple picking, cool mornings, and the charm of local antique stores. These early experiences gave her a lasting appreciation for timeless design, nostalgic feelings, and thoughtful details.
Currently back on the Eastern Shore, Kristen is a self-taught designer with certifications in Advertising & Society from Duke University and Marketing with Canva. She began her career managing social media for local boutiques before expanding into freelance branding, website design, and content creation. Her early work also includes equine photography and graphic design for nonprofit animal sanctuaries in Africa, Madagascar, and Sweden.
Her work has been featured in Brainz Magazine and Bold Journey Magazine, and she was awarded the 2023 CREA Global Award by Brainz Magazine for her creative leadership and entrepreneurial work.
Today, Kristen leads Sunday Studio with a clear vision, helping brands, individuals, and businesses bring their stories to life through strategic, elevated design.
